The season of summer and the coolant sharbat. What else you need on a scorching hot afternoon. I was introduced to Sauf Ka Sharbat/ Fennel Seed Sharbat at my in laws house during the month of Moharram ( the first month according to Islamic Calendar) . This sharbat was made specially on the 7th & 9th day of moharram. Whereas throughout India , milk based sharbat known as Moharram Ka Sharbat is made during this time. But we had a different tradition of making this water based sharbat
