Sharab Tamr Hendi is a very popular drink in Middle east. Sharab Tamr hendi is a drink made with indian (Hendi)  tamarind (Tamr) and consumed in Ramadan. Served in long half filled glasses, I am  hooked to  this drink and had my first taste of it around ten years back. I love discovering new cuisines and  this was something completely new for me.

Assala mo alykum & Welcome  to the first chapter of Ramadan an event to share. I am starting this event with my home country India. I know, I am being a little biased but it is what it is. So today  we have with us our special guest Lubna Kareem from Yummy Food. She is a well known name in blogging community and a very special friend of mine. Ramadan – The ninth month in Islamic Calendar, where we Muslims round the globe observe 30 days of fasting from sunrise to sunset. Ramadan is the time to control our ‘Nafs’. We recite Quran and spend more time on Ibadaat. This is the time where worldly things step aside and we soak ourselves in dikhr.

Ramadan Kareem to all the readers of  Ghezaeshiriin.  Alhamdolilha  the pious month has arrived and preparation for it are in full swing  in each Muslim household. Ramadan is a month which unites all muslims around the globe in fasting, feasting and praying. This is the time to focus your attention on praying, purifying our soul, and bring some discipline in our lifestyle. The days , nights of ramadan   are considered best among the day & nights. This is a month where your sleep is worship , prayers and good deed are accepted.Fasting not only means refraining yourself from eating. The true meaning is to self restraint  from practicing all immoral acts like greed, lying , slander etc and practice generosity .
