Bhuna Hua Ghost
As ramadan is  coming nearer, the preparations for it are in full swing at my home. This time , my mother in law will be spending Ramadan  with us. Its for the  first time she is here to stay with us after marraige. And in the coming days my father in law and sister in laws family will be joining us too. So excited that this time we will not be celebrating eid alone. Its a rare occasion when my family is going to be with me.

At the same time , I am sad as my ammi’s health is not good. Doctors are doing the checkups to see what is the exact the problem. Please pray for her good health. On one side I am happy and on the other side feel like going back to India to meet ammi. Sometimes life offers happiness and  sadness together. Strange but true. But I have full faith and belief in my allah and his rasool that he will put things in the proper manner Insha allah.

Baking Partners: A new Baking Group
A group of home bakers helping each other to achieve perfection.

Baking a home made Baking a homemade bread, cake or cookies will give the best outcome. However in order to achieve the best results, a perfect recipe and right techniques are required.

We are a small group of home baker friends, who love and want to learn more about the nook and corners of baking.  We are planning to try out recipes from books/magazines and cooking shows.  Every member gets a chance to present their choice of recipe and share important points with the rest of the group.
Main purpose of this group is to learn the techniques, critic the procedure if there are ways to improve, and to eat a delicious food.
Rules are simple, we will choose one recipe and send it out to the group by 16th of every month and the reveal date will be 15th of the next month. On that day we will blog about it. A linky tool will be open during that time and each member can link their post.
First month we are going to do a recipe, 2nd and 3rd month will be a theme and the 4th month we will be back at a recipe. By doing in between recipes, we will able to learn more.
All enthusiastic bloggers interested in baking are welcome, please email Swathi  of Zesty South Indian Kitchen  at favoriterecipes12@gmail.com.
We will appreciate the use of logo or worded link that will help to spread the word.  A bunch of thanks to Tina for designing this beautiful logo

UPDATED WITH NICEE PICTURES

It’s 2021 wow. Never knew I would be blogging still. Not changing the content of this post. Only pictures. It’s a memory. And I cherish all my memories.

Duliram Ke Pede

It’s been  about 6 years in Dubai. And a few years, I  started this blog.  As my main intention of starting was all about documenting my family recipes. I have no idea if I will continue as I am not so regular at it. . I don’t have a proper camera too right now. I see beautiful pics in other blogs and here I am capturing with my basic mobile. K doesn’t know that I have started this blog. Well it’s not about hiding from him. It’s just my ramble most of the time, when I feel homesick. Though I told ammi I started this blog and so and so. Like all mothers she feels so proud. Well she is always proud of all 4 of us in every little venture. That’s another story.
