We have started consuming loads of fruit combination in our daily routine. It is not that previously we were not having any fruits. But now we have started combining variety of fruits with the spices.This pomegranate & orange salad is one of these delicious combinations.

 The sweetness of pomegranate with the tanginess of oranges is delicious way to start of the morning. With a little sprinkle of nutmeg & drizzle of honey this pomegranate & orange salad become more delicious. Pomegranate & orange salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate seed
  • 1 cup orange slices deseeded
  • 2 -3 tsp honey
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder to sprinkle
  • Mint leaves to garnish

Instructions

  1. In a glass arrange the layers pomegranate & orange
  2. Sprinkle nutmeg powder on each layer.
  3. On the top of layered fruits drizzle honey.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves & serve.

I have grown up seeing my Appi gathering cutting of recipes  from different magazines and newspaper. Later they were  neatly filed  according to the meal  courses. When I saw ‘Cooking from Scrapbook”  for this month’s challenge on MFBC started by my dear friend Rafee of  The Big Sweet Tooth , I was super excited to participate.
