We love broccoli in our stir fries with a crunch. On my last visit to farmer’s market, I bought lot of veggies. It seems a long time back though. Dreaming for normalcy to come back. So few days later we had a semi lock down  followed by total lockdown kind of situation in our city too. I tried to finish off my most  perishable veggies first, and this two florets of broccoli were left hidden under the vegetable basket. It had started turning a bit of yellow and wilted. As I said we love our broccoli crunchy so using it in stir fries was out of question

When your dinner mostly consists of protein, be it eggs or meat. I have to stock up things which can be easily whipped up in a jiffy. I love freezer friendly recipes.  I know the debate in eating freshly made food and freezer food is never ending. I am also an advocate of fresh food. But when you work. You have to manage time. And believe me it is a boon after a long day at work,  when you know there is something stocked up in freezer.

Besan Badam Katli – A Chickpea flour fudge is an indian dessert made of gram flour and almond powder. This fudge is modified version of Besan ka HalwaBesan Badam Katli - A Chickpea flour fudge

The recipe for Besan Badam Katli – A Chickpea flour fudge uses equal amount of chickpea flour & almond meal. For this recipe , I have powdered the whole almond. Store bought almond flour can also be used. As a sweetener I have used condense milk.
