Chicken Toast is a delicious toast made using chicken. This delicious toast can be made in a jiffy and serves as a good breakfast or for an evening snack or a light dinner.
Thinking about evening dinner each day has been a great hassle for me. K doesn’t like having proper dinner. Rather our dinner is all about sandwiches, wraps , grills and sometimes an omlet, half fry or a french toast. Yup we turn our breakfast menu to dinners.
Chicken Toast is one of my evening dinner jewels. Tasty, crunchy and super easy to whip up in a jiffy. Be it breakfast or a light dinner.
This recipe requires chicken kheema or very finely chopped chicken. Some green onions , a bit of ginger garlic, green chilly, jalapeño, some coriander , mint . It’s just adding up all the ingredients. Spreading on a slice of bread . Shallow frying and later on grill for 5 minutes in oven. Grilling is optional. Instead of grilling , it can also be slightly toasted in a greased pan
Ingredients:
150 gm chicken Kheema
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric/ haldi
1/2 tsp red chilly powder / laal mirchi
1 tsp salt
1 tsp thecha / green chilly paste
2 tbsp chopped capsicum
3 tsp chopped spring onion
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp chopped jalapeno
few leaves of mint chopped
1 egg

Ingredients
- (I)
- 150 gm chicken Kheema
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric/ haldi
- 1/2 tsp red chilly powder / laal mirchi
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp thecha / green chilly paste
- 2 tbsp chopped capsicum
- 3 tsp chopped spring onion
- 1 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 tbsp chopped jalapeno
- few leaves of mint chopped
- 1 egg
- (II)
- 4 slices Bread
- Oil for shallow frying
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in the chicken kheema given in (I)
- Spread this chicken mix evenly on all the bread slices
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Place the prepared slice (chicken filling side down) & cook on a low flame for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Cook all the slices.
- Now excess oil and slightly toast the other side till little brown. Or grill in hot oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with tomato sauce.
