Chicken Ki Shami

Chicken Ki Shami is a poultry version of the shami kebabs. Easily freezable, this recipe is simple , easy & delicious.

For Chicken Ki Shami you will need:

(I)

Step 1

  1. Boil the chicken with all the above ingredients in a pressure cooker for 3 to 4 whistles.
  2. When done, cook  till all the extra water has dried up. Cool
  3. In a food processor jar with chopper bladder, process the chicken mix to paste.
  4. Remove in a bowl and move to next step

(II)

Step 2

  1. Add all the above ingredients to the chicken paste.
  2. Mix till combined.
  3. Make a little dent in middle of the mix for next step

Step 3

  1. Heat the coal on a gas flame.
  2. When red add it to the chicken mix. And pour over ghee
  3. Cover quickly with a lid and place a heavy thing so the smoke remains inside.
  4. After 10 minutes remove the coal & make 45 small patties.

Frying:

 

Storing Instructions

  1. Place the patties in a tray an inch apart and freeze for 2 hours.
  2. Later store in an aluminium container.
  3. Can be stored up to a month.
