Tahini & Garlic Dip

We are so so fond of Tahini & Garlic Dip. It goes with kebabs, potato wedges, french fries. As a spread on a wrap. Or with a splash on a sandwich. The flavors are so succulent that I love having it without anything. Before I forget, it goes well with salads too. Dip your cucumber, carrots or tomato. It is yum.

Tahini & Garlic Dip

Yogurt/curd is the core ingredient of this recipe. You can use sour cream too. But if you are using yogurt, remember to drain the liquid whey. As the texture of this dip is thick. Next goes in Tahini which is easily available here.

  • Tahini
  • Garlic
  • Sprigs of Rosemary
  • Crushed pepper
  • Salt to taste

And so I don’t bother making it. Adding garlic depends totally on your taste. Whether you like mild or strong. We love strong flavors. So a big size clove is more than enough for us.

Tahini & Garlic Dip

This dip has to be used up in maximum two days. Or else , the garlic will start creating its acid and making it pungent. But I would rather say make a fresh and small quantity batch each time. Rather than wastage.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 big garlic clove grated
  • 1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • few sprigs of rosemary chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients properly.
  2. Serve
