Chicken Samosa

Chicken Samosa is a delicious  Indian snack. The best thing about this recipe is that it can be easily frozen for a month.

I am mostly finished with my Ramadan Preparation. And I am a bit relieved. At the least my food part is nearly over. I usually start my preps after 15th of Shaban. It has been kind of a ritual at my place to start all the preps after fifteen.I remember my nani used to make long lasting halwas in Shab e barat and say, this will last till the initial days of Ramadan. So not to worry about sweets for the initial days. As eating a little sweet after each meal is considered a Sunnat. So desserts are a must at my place. May it be a little piece of jaggery or dates.

I have been doing a Ramadan prep series on my insta account. And had share a recipe of making home made samosa strips. Now I usually make this strips using whole wheat flour (atta) . My in laws side whole wheat flour is used. It stays crispy for longer period too after frying. While on my Ammi’s home , we used to make using Al purpose flour or mix of both.

As I always  give whatever option are available  and you make a choice according to what you have in your Pantry. I have also used multigrain flour for making strips and the result is good for that too.

This recipe make about 50 pcs of Samosa. I make a huge batch. So it last over at least a month.  But this recipe can be easily halved as Indian Cooking is all about adjustment of spices according to taste
