Coffee Cream – No Dairy

I love coffee in any form. Be it plain, with milk or espresso. I like my coffee. When I am at work a little dosage of espresso give me the required pump of energy to  regenerate my creative thinking. It may sound weird to many. But when you are working continuously as a food stylist with no rest in between to meet the deadline, I need my extra doze.  And this coffee cream is a great invention by whoever has created.

So what is coffee cream made of? It has three ingredients. First instant coffee, sugar and super chilly water.

The process is very simple. Using a beater, beat all the three ingredients to incorporate air so to form  firm peaks. It takes about 15 minutes to reach this level.

This cream can be used for not only frosting cakes. But be innovating.  Use for topping your cold coffee to give that extra zing. Make a parfait of fruits , yogurt & this cream.

Ingredients

  • 10 gm instant coffee
  • 100 gm sugar
  • 80 ml cold water

Instructions

  1. Mix coffee, sugar & Cold water
  2. Using a beater or whisk, beat for 15 to 20 minutes to incorporate air in it
  3. This will form stiff peaks.
  4. Use for frosting , for making cappuccino or for layering the parfaits
