Assala mo alykum & Ramadan Mubarak. In my previous posts, I had shared some of the preps for Ramadan. So now it’s time to use them. So today I am sharing our favorite Ramadan drink Dry Fruit Lassi. Remember the dry fruit powder we had prepared and stocked up. We will use it up in this recipe and whip up a delicious Lassi.
It’s summer and Ramadan. So this delicious lassi works perfectly for both times. The yogurt gives the coolness and the dry fruits provide the much needed energy after a long day of fasting.
This recipe uses merely three ingredients. Yogurt, Dry fruit powder mix and a sweetener. Now many options can be used to sweeten this lassi. Honey, jaggery or sugar. Our most favorite is honey. We prefer using honey. That also Yemeni Sidr honey. This honey gives a pecular flowery mountain taste to the lassi.
Ingredients
250 gm yogurt /curd/dahi
3 tbsp of dry fruit powder
3 tbsp honey/ 5 tbsp sugar/ 30 gm jaggery
Crushed Ice for serving
Method
- In a juicer jar add all the ingredients (choose any one of sweetener)
- Pulse 2 to 3 times
- Remove in 2 glasses.
- Add ice & Serve
