Cold Coco Mix is a ready to make mix for cold version of hot coco. This mix is the third recipe in my series of Ramadan Preps.
As I said before, I am being positive and taking things a day by day. This is the need of the hour. I am trying to keep myself busy. It’s way better than over thinking. I know there are lot of things happening back home, the plight of migrant workers, the stories of hungry families. We are doing a little bit by reaching out to people in our area. Please request you to reach out. See that this Ramadan , your Zakat reaches to the one who is really needy. Be it any religion any cast. It doesn’t matter. The teaching of Islam & Rasulallah (pbuh) are humanity. We need to show humanity in this hour.
Today’s recipe is of the Cold Coco Mix. Well you must have heard of hot coco. So why not cold coco. On my last visit back home, the street hawker was selling it. And we totally loved it. The flavors were of hot coco but a little thick in consistency with the aroma of a distinct spice. And that was nutmeg. Oh I love nutmeg. A little tiny bit of nutmeg in a recipe and the dish goes to another level.
In my next post I will share the recipe of how to make Cold Coco. Till then enjoy this beautiful pictures in this sugar bowl. This is one of the last pieces of the tea set. About a 100 yrs old according to K. His grandfather’s generation. My ma in laws know I am an old soul. So she kept this for me. Enjoy
