Achari Chicken Kebab is delicious kebab made from pickling masala. It is a spicy, succulent and melt in mouth kebab with loads of flavor.
Chicken Achari Kebab, as the name suggest these kebabs are marinated in achari masala. Meaning masala used for pickles. This kebab has more of a north indian achar masala with the flavors of fennel, cumin and nigella sativa (Kalaungi) I have shared a detail recipe of Achari masala in my previous post. If you have this masala it’s very easy to make up this kebab, as it doesn’t require much of marination. In 15 minutes this marinated chicken cubes can be grilled.
I have used boneless chicken breast cubes for this recipe. At the same time boneless chicken legs can also be used. But cooking time will differ as leg part of chicken takes a little more time to cook.
Ingredient
(I)
200 gm chicken breast cubes
(II)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 tbsp achari masala
1 juice of lemon
2 tbsp mustard oil
1 tsp yogurt (optional)
(III)
Skewers or bamboo sticks for grilling
Method
- Marinate the chicken cubes in all the above given ingredients (II)
- Cover and refrigerated for 15 minutes.
- Insert the marinated chicken cubes in skewers
- Grill on very high temperature for 20 minutes
- Serve with green chutney.
NOTE:
This Kebabs can be freezed & stocked upto a month. Keep the marinated cubes in a tray. keeping an inch apart. Freeze. Later stock in separate bags. Defrost & use as required following the same steps as above
